この曲やLive Aidの様な80年代の大規模なチャリティって、やや冷笑的に見ていたけど、じゃあ今のアメリカはWe Are The Worldなんてとても言いきれないよなぁ。
今はシリアスな状況だけど、逆に80年代はBob Dylanがチャリティに困惑しながらも参加してるし、日本は好景気で浮かれてシティポップ、David BowieはLet's Danceしちゃう。
何故そんなに無邪気に未来を信じられたのだろうか。80年代の空気が、もはや分からない。
